How did you manage to pry open the ipod classic. I have opened an ipod G5 video. Though I find the ipod classic to be a bit tighter. I dont have a prying tool as such. So advice that you can give would be great. What I am looking to do is replace the headphone jack with one from a G5 ipod Video. Becuase it has better play back and the sound is better in the G5 than the G6. If this is not possable please let me know, so that I dont mess up my G6. I guess if I can hear the music that should be suffice though I know the G5 is louder becuase of better parts than that are in the G6. I feel am babbling am sure you get the idea of my master plan.
Cheers
