Get you head out of your ass Shopped! You have obviously never seen a real winter before. I’m from Canada and have seen some pretty bizarre things happen in winter before. Ice storms like this happen, not often, but they do.

First off, we all know coastal waterfronts aren’t prone to bad ice storms. You’d need to travel to our alternate dimension where ice is formed in low-temperature climates. Second, the ‘ice’ shown in all pics clearly looks like a rough, acrylic epoxy. Nice try… nubs.

Everyone knows that if you were to put your hand that close to ice it would be immediately incinerated in an Anakin/Darth Vader like fashion (y’know, where your flesh catches fire and then miraculously and inexplicably stops burning for no particular reason other than George Lucas wills it to be so. Fuck you George Lucas).

This screen is totally shopped. Mouse clicking, the noise it makes, clearly a shoop. I know from hearing the sounds of photoshop for hundreds of hours high in the andes mountains during the winter of 82 for nine hours a day. Clearly it is all a fantastic shoop. And look at the reflections on my hands! God it disturbs me to think that people honestly believe my hands are real. I could shoop these from a chihuahua picture in less than 3/4ths of a second due to my extensive shoop ninja training in calgary by the great Shoopmaster Shoopdog.
Those pictures by the way, could have been done with some crayon, a block of lard, three homeless immigrants, a few yards of string, the contents of an orphan, a drum of fine lager, and seventeen years of uncontrolled female beard growth. I can tell, having much experience in such things.

it dose not just happen on the cost it happened in New Hampshier just a little while ago. we lost power for about a week and others lost power for longer than that. i would of thought the trees in these pics would have broken. ice although not real to some is very heavy.
when we had the ice storm in N.H. trees were falling down all over the place and they were at least 4 times biger than the ones in the pics but i would have liked to have been their when that happened.

People need to realise that when someone says its shopped etc that they are really not serious. They are just stupid and cannot come up with an appropriate comment to leave, and thus feel self conscious about their stupidity and leave a dumb comment to make them self feel a little more important. Then they get attention from ppl saying your stupid, its not shopped.

In other words just ignore them and the world will be a better place.

Cmon, def Gimp Shopped, cos I know as I have Gshopped 10’s of pics and due to the contrast, lighting, angles, shadows, and the pixelating quality that it was g/shopped.
I have never in my life (so far) seen such long drips on a tree for them to form into icicles.
Also, the properties showing on Gimp shows that an extremley slow shutter speed was used – like were you standing there for 7 hours making sure the shutter speed will set in?

Hello my name is Joe and I am a professional photographer. I have been taking photos since I was 2 weeks old.

It is quite evident in photos 4 and 5 that these images were photo shopped. Notice how the foreground is covered in ice (cart and van) and the background isn’t (building and other van). Plus the shadows are all wrong and if you look closely at all the photos you can notice some pixelation effects caused by the inexperienced photo shoppers.

The easiest mistake to spot however is photo 6. Notice how the man walking in the background is completely untouched by the ice. If this photo were real he would totally be covered in ice.

OK…the car in the background of pic 3 is the same vehicle as in ic 6. So how could you shop the same element exactly in two different pics…that’s because they are actual photos.

Yes, we Canadians have experienced this, I do remember the Quebec storm vividly…most costly natural disaster in Canadian history…ironically I live in South Carolina now…and we had an ice storm here in 2005 that destroyed thousands of trees and left 500,000 without power for a week.

I’m from the United States and our friends to the north — CANADIA — doesn’t really exist either. I think that the hole Canadia thing is photoshopped.

    This whole thing is faked!

Shopped. I know because water can’t get cold enough to be a solid. Not on this planet anyway.

Someone mentioned these pictures were taken in Switzerland. To further dissuade any naysayers left, these pictures were taken in Versoix, Switzerland on the shores of Lake Leman. Lake Leman borders southwestern Switzerland and France.

Now all of these thoughtless posts could have been avoided had someone properly cited their resources as these pictures are clearly taken from another site and are someone else’s work.

These photos are cool, I mean cold. We have too many chiefs and not enough indians. Everyone on the internet is a freakin’ expert. And it seems we have nothing better to do than argue about something as irrelevant as this.

What a bunch of losers. Get a life and don’t open your trap when you don’t know shit. Pretty neat photos, though.

clearly the bush administration (when it was in office) shopped these photos to let you think the ice terrorists are attacking. Amazing photos though.

If ice doesn’t exit any longer due to Global warming, then wtf did i slide around and fell on this morning? It sure felt and looked like ice! (never ever lick icey iron!! never!)

I’m okay that people believe it’s shopped since they proberly know what there talking about. But that it doesn’t get cold enough anymore to freeze the water to ice? c’mon the freezing point is 0 centigrade! it gets lover than that all the time in DK Actually this years winter has so fra been the COLDEST for many years! :(

and that gravity would break the Icicles on the middle? maybe if it was made of papir and had a rock in the end, but ice is pretty solid and you may notice how it gets thinner in the end?

that no one live on places this cold.. well i take it that you’ve never been to Russia? neither have I and neither had the nazi army those fools! The Soviet Union beat up the german ’cause they weren’t prepared for tempratures down to -50 centigrades

it’s totally real check out how the sports cars suspension is compressed all the way down because of the weight of all the ice..

Pffft, totally a photoshop, the pixels are all wrong and the shadows are a bit off. Trust me I would know.

Shopped or not, this is nothing improbable. It might be extreme in those pictures, but similar phenomenon appear here every winter. I live near a large fresh water lake in Sweden. When it is cold and stormy before ice has laid trees, bushes and cars get iced over along the shore.

Minus degrees, stormy and open water is what it takes to form it. It might be possible to shop it too, but that effort wouldn’t be necessary.

These are obviously shopped. I shopped them myself to make it obvious. I went to the shop and asked for a shopping trolley of shops for the shop and then I shop shop shop shop. Shop.

Obviously shopped. Everyone knows there’s no such thing as ice storms, they all went extinct due to global warming. We only have thunderstorms. I would know, I’m a weather man. Also, the reflections are TOTALLY all wrong.

Definitely shopped. The water is running in the oceans, and if it were that cold, the oceans would have frozen over as well.

And it’s also because I paid $30 for prints of these at the place where they sold it. I had to shop that, you know.

Of course it is not ’shopped’ other than they may have been cropped, sharpened and color enhanced.. that’s it. This is what ice will do. I’m from Canada and I see this kind of thing happen. Maybe not to this extent, since I don’t live on the coast.

You morans think all photos are ’shopped.

There’s The Gimp too, you know. They might be Gimpped but they are not ’shopped. I can tell by the pixels and having seen many ’shopped photos in my time.
