    • Home screen: Icons on the home screen can now be rearranged.
    • Home screen: Up to 9 home screens can now be created and “flicked” between.
    • SMS: A single text message can now be sent to multiple recipients; groups can be recalled for future use.
    • iTunes: Movie rentals are now supported.
    • iTunes: Support for lyrics.

Apple to announce the MacBook Air at Macworld?

    1

“The guys over at 9to5Mac are making the case that Apple’s rumored ultra-portable will be dubbed the MacBook Air. Besides all the anecdotal evidence supporting their case, one of their readers discovered a machine identifying itself as a “MacBookAir” in a January 9, 2008 Adium usage log — 3 days before the “There’s something in the air” MacWorld banner was revealed. If true, it’s thought that the name could refer to the ultra-portable’s weight, WWAN capability, or even Wireless USB support.”

This patent application shows the wiggle of the icons in rearrangement mode that we saw on GearLive’s video this past week, giving us yet another hint that 1.1.3 is real and other sources hint at it being released the week of Macworld (January 15-18).

    So stay tuned………
